Aloft is a desktop app for Windows. This page covers the website and the app. Last updated 29 September 2026.
The website
These pages are static. The site does not create an account and does not ask you to sign in.
If a Cloudflare Web Analytics token is set, the site loads Cloudflare’s cookieless beacon. That beacon counts page views. It does not use cookies, and the site does not show a cookie banner. No other third-party script is loaded.
The app
Aloft runs on your computer. It starts the Claude Code and Codex command-line tools already installed on the machine. It reads ~/.claude/.credentials.json and ~/.codex/auth.json only to show whether you are signed in.
Aloft does not ship an API key or a shared account. It does not rewrite skills, MCP servers, custom commands, CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, settings, or CLI history. Sign-in is your Claude subscription and your ChatGPT subscription.
Downloads
Download opens the Windows installer. The site does not add an account step before that file.
Voice
Audio goes through Aloft’s voice server on Supabase to OpenAI for transcription and realtime voice. It is not stored beyond processing.
Waitlist
The email is used only for release news. It is not sold or shared, and it can be deleted on request.
